Re-engineering my life

This last 30 days I’ve:
  • Joined weight watchers to lose weight
  • Bought a Wii Fit to get in shape
  • Retained a financial advisor
  • Signed up for an assertiveness training class
  • Started medication to prevent high cholesterol

Well, I've started taking something for high cholesterol.

Other than that, I don't have the motivation to re-engineer my life. I'm just running on inertia and I'm almost out of that.

I envy your drive.

I'd love to know how the Wii Fit workouts go for you. It's a lot of money, but if worth it, I'd like to get one!

I had a Wii already, so it wasn't that much more.

25 days and I'm doing it about 5 days a week. I really like it. Then again, I think it appeals to people like me that did NO exercise previously. The negative comments that I've heard are from more sophisticated folks. I'm just trying to get more movement in my day.

I kinda want to try the yoga one. Which ones are you doing?

What, we weight lifters aren't going to abandon the gym for the Wii? ;-)

BTW, are you taking coenzyme Q10? I hear frequently that it's a good supplement to take if you're on a statin.
